BigDaySpy is a themed, editable wedding site built around a guest-facing photo and video capture game, purchased as a single one-off package for your wedding ("your Event"). Guests access everything via a QR code or personal link straight in their phone's browser — no app, and no account required on their end.
Depending on which tools you switch on, your Event may also include: a shared guest gallery guests can browse (private by default, with an optional PIN if you turn on browsing for guests); song requests with a live, auto-updating queue for your DJ; RSVP tracking with named plus-ones, dietary flags, and your venue's actual menu options; a drag-and-drop visual seating planner; a guestbook for written messages and well wishes; a live slideshow for display on a screen at your venue; a vendor and day-of contacts toolkit; QR code scan tracking; and a full activity log of uploads, RSVPs, scans, and changes across your account.
A single purchase covers your whole wedding, including any linked events you add under it — for example a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, or next-day brunch — each with its own venue, time, and dress code, tracked separately within the same Event.
Access to the service for one Event is provided in exchange for a single, one-off payment made at signup. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, and we do not charge per guest. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves. The price shown at checkout, including any promotional or discounted pricing, is the price you pay — we will not change the price of an Event you have already purchased.
Because the service provisions dedicated storage and a live site for your Event immediately upon payment, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis rather than guaranteed automatically. If something has gone wrong on our side (for example, the service failing to work as described), contact hello@bigdayspy.co.uk and we'll put it right or refund you.
This is important, so we're stating it plainly:
We are not responsible for content lost due to this scheduled deletion if you have not downloaded it within the stated window.
You retain ownership of every photo and video captured by your guests through the game, along with any RSVP details, guestbook messages, and other content your guests submit. We do not claim any ownership over your content, and we do not use it for our own marketing or any other purpose without your separate, explicit permission (for example, if you choose to leave a public review). Your gallery is private by default; if you choose to turn on guest browsing with a shared gallery, that is a setting you control and can switch off at any time. You agree not to use the service to collect, store, or distribute unlawful content, and to use the guest photo/video game and other tools only for genuine personal wedding events. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found to be misusing the service, including for storing illegal content.
We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary outages, third-party service disruptions (including our storage, email, or payment providers), or guest-side issues such as a guest's own internet connection or device compatibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of photos, videos, RSVP data, or other content beyond what is covered by the storage and deletion terms above.
We may update these terms from time to time, including to reflect new features added to the service. Material changes affecting active Events will be communicated to the contact email on file where reasonably possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
